STEPHEN S RUSSELL
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
As President of Interscape Construction, Inc., Stephen Russell offers clients unique experience as a specialty contractor for tenant improvement construction, remodel and retrofit work. He is licensed as both an Architect and a contractor, and this combination allows him to add value to projects in a variety of ways. He is known for his respect of aesthetic concerns, his commitment to quality materials and craftsmanship, his inspired problem solving skills, and his passion for enhancing an architectural vision throughout the construction process.
Mr. Russell earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He also attended the Institute of Business Economics and Management at the University of Southern California.
As founder of Interscape Construction, Mr. Russell has successfully handled hundreds of projects of all sizes and scopes. Before founding Interscape in 1986, Mr. Russell spent nine years with Robert E. McKee Construction and held the titles of Manager of Business Development and Manager of Tenant Improvement Projects. Before joining Mckee, he worked with several architectural firms in California and Europe.
In addition to his work with Interscape, Mr. Russell is active with Building Owners and Managers Association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Headquarters Association, Pasadena Tournament of Roses, Pasadena Optimist Club and San Marino Motor Classic. He is also a member of the Los Angeles Conservancy.
SR VICE PRESIDENT
Serving as Vice President of Interscape Construction since 1989, Mr. Harper helms project management of tenant improvements for a number of clients, architects and tenants, as well as manages select projects for the firm. He reviews all project documents and supplemental requirements, solicits costs and comparisons from subcontractors and material suppliers, and coordinates budgeting and bidding efforts. He is always involved in purchasing, cost and quality control for Interscape’s projects.
Neal Harper brings Interscape clients over thirty-eight years of construction experience. Prior to his joining Interscape, he was with Fauci Construction and Fauci & Sons Painting and Wallcovering in Los Angeles for close to nine years as a project manager and estimator. He was on the construction staff of Pep Boys for more than three years. His experience includes all types and sizes of interior tenant improvement projects, from commercial and retail, to medical, including base building lobbies, corridors and restroom renovations. His commitment to working in a Team Environment and his attention to quality and detail is reflected in all of his projects.
In addition to his work with Interscape, Neal is a committed supporter of Guide Dogs of America.
MARILYN A. PASCO
Marilyn A. Pasco is in her twentieth year as a Project Manager at Interscape Construction. Her responsibilities include all aspects of management for the complete build out of tenant improvement work as awarded by solicitation of bids and/or as negotiated. Other responsibilities include: cost estimating; construction with on going tenant occupancy requirements; scheduling and supervision of projects to completion.
Ms. Pasco attended Los Angeles Technical College and has thirty seven years of construction experience. Prior to her joining Interscape, she was with other major general contractors in the Los Angeles area for more than 16 years.
In addition to a widely varied portfolio of commercial construction, her expertise has helped several landlords in the development of their Building Standards. An early proponent of the new Title 24 energy conservation standards, Marilyn’s knowledge helps all members of the construction team in the implementation of the new requirements.
